WHAT IS IVSI?

The IVSI (Internationale Verband der Schneesport-Instruktoren, International Association of Snowsport-Instructors) is the international body for non-professional snowsport instructors.


Aims and objectives
Developing international guidelines for the education and exam regulation for the snowsport instructors (approx. 40.000 snowsport-instructor).
Instructing ski and other snowsports in national associations, clubs.


Activities
Exchange ideas in methodology, techniques, training theory, management, environment & conservation and safety issues related to snowsports.
Publish results and researches and assessment strategies in various areas like pedagogy, community and health education, medical insurance, etc.
Display professional reports, materials, and films.
Organize international forums, congresses.


IVSI Instructor
Instructor is called when someone is an educated snowsport instructor in either alpine skiing or snowboard or ski touring or telemark or Nordic skiing or in any other snowsports.
